The Auxiliaries

Today is the beginning of a week of meeting a multitude of new people. This morning is a meeting with some housing folks. I'm excited at the prospects of moving up and out of my current crash pad with my aforementioned rent/bills challenged roommate.

I now have an appointment with an audiologist (because chemo can make you go deaf)

I have an appointment with a speech pathologist (because part of my face doesn't work well anymore)

I have an appointment with a dentist (because radiation can make ones teeth fall out)

I have an upcoming appointment with a second dentist for a oral cancer screening.

I have an appointment with the local Social Security office.

I have a tentative appointment with a So. Cal doctor at USC to consider a second opinion.

I have another tentative appointment with my ENT surgeon to reconsider my PET/CT results

Unfortunately there are probably four or five others that aren't coming to me at this early hours. As I commented elsewhere, it is good to have resources available. I'm doing all I can to followup and use what I have. It is slow and a logistical challenge as these are spread all over the Bay Area. Slow and challenging, but good.
